Upcoming Otakon 2022 Announcements!

Otakon 2022 is upon us! How on earth did that happen so quickly?! Kinda bizarre, but I’m so here for it. And I’m super happy to announce a few upcoming things that I’ll be involved with at Otakon 2022! This time, I’ll be hosting both a cosplay meetup and leading two panels. So crazy!
The Cosplay Meet Up with be for DC Comics. Meanwhile, the two panels will be “Tokyo for the Anime Fan” and “The Ultimate Japan Bucket List.” So if you’re going to be dressing up from DC Comics or if you’re interested in traveling to Japan, these will be events not to miss!
Otakon 2022 DC Comics Cosplay Meet Up
On Friday at Noon, I’ll be hosting on behalf of Teen Titans Deep Dive the DC Comics Cosplay Meet Up! The last time I did this was at AwesomeCon this past year for the Teen Titans Cosplay Meet Up, which was a total blast! (Photos on the way!)
I seriously can’t wait to see everyone this year and meet fellow DC Comics fans. DC has always held a spot at the center of my nerdy heart from the beginning. So it will be exciting to meet others with similar interests. If you’re interested in coming, whether as a cosplayer or as a photographer, just shoot me a message. Below is the event information:

Otakon 2022 Panel: Tokyo for the Anime Fan
The first of the two panels that I’m hosting at Otakon this year is “Tokyo for the Anime Fan”. Honestly, Tokyo owns my heart and there are so many things to do in this amazing city. Whether you love fashion, history, technology, food, there’s so much in Tokyo. And if you love Anime, well, you’ve definitely come to the right place. With so much to see and do in Tokyo, this panel will be dedicated to highlighting places that anime fans have to hit up out of the sea of options of things to do in Tokyo. And while yes, you have to go to Akihabara, trust me when I say there’s so much more in Tokyo for the anime fan, so you’re not going to want to miss this panel.
Description: How will you MAX out your dream anime vacation to Tokyo? There’s… Akihabara right? What’s an Akihabara? What else is in Tokyo for the anime fan? Dive into the brain of cosplayer and former Japan resident Skywing Knights who will share all of the BEST anime-indulgent spots in the heart of Japan.

Otakon 2022 Panel: The Ultimate Japan Bucket List
If I love Tokyo, then you know I love Japan. So since 2013, I’ve been adding to, checking off, and adding more things to my own Japan Bucket List. And with everything I’ve seen and done, I’m excited to be able to share with eager travelers what the ultimate bucket list items are for when you go to Japan. So from the southern tip of Kyushu up to the Northern island of Hokkaido, I’ll be sharing the best experiences and most beautiful places Japan has to offer. Not to mention, I’ll tell you where they are!! If you’re looking to see all the wonders of Japan, then this is the panel for you!

As you can see, my weekend is going to be extremely busy. But it will be exciting none the less! I can’t wait to meet fellow fans of DC Comics, Japan, and Anime to discuss the things we love. Even right now, I’m busily prepping, as I’m sure many others are too.
