Well, it’s been asked for for years now. Years and years. But today’s finally the day guys. I’m very excited to announce the launch of Skywing Knights Photography!
Skywing Knights Photography is my new, small photography business operating out of the Greater Washington, DC area. As you might guess if you’ve looked through my website and blog, I specialize in Portrait, Cosplay, and Architecture photography. This new service of mine can be found now at the top of the menu bar of my website under the tab “Services” or via the link below!

Why Now and What is the Goal?
As I alluded to above, I’ve been told I should open my own small photography business for years. And… I’ve declined for years, never thinking I was good enough to do so. (Frankly, I’m still very nervous about this on some level!) Doubting oneself however can be the difference between experiencing life and not. And I want to experience my life. I want to try. I want to see what I can do. Over the past year, I experienced an immense loss in my life. One of those results is that it’s made me think about doing things I didn’t have the courage to do before. This is one of them.
With the launch of Skywing Knights Photography, my goals are thus – to create beautiful images that are personalized, bring out the best in my models, cinematic, and tell a story. In a sense, I go back to my roots when it comes to photography as often, I think I am drawn most to creating images that “give off a comic book vibe.” What I mean by that is, I love vibrancy, I love to “capture motion”, and I especially love to capture emotion. I don’t simply want to take photos of people modeling clothes. I want to take pictures of people and what makes them sing from their souls.
Similarly, with Architecture and Landscape photography, I want to capture the feeling locations give me. Solace, ebb and flow, movement, stillness, loudness, stimulation, inspiration… those are just some of the words you might use to describe places.

It’s been an adventure in launching this service. I want to say in advance that I am truly grateful to all of you who put your trust in me with taking photos of you or your subjects. But I also want to thank those who have encouraged me to launch Skywing Knights Photography. Additionally, I want to thank those who gave me the opportunity to practice and to get to the point where I am now. I love and appreciate all of you for helping me hone my craft and for encouraging me to do so. Thank you all, so very much, for everything.
So to those of you who are new here and those who have been here for awhile, I’m glad you’re joining me in this adventure. I hope we can capture beautiful moments together as we move forward.
