This year I’m hosting a Japan Anime Goodie Giveaway on my Social Media! 3 to be exact!
That’s 3 Platforms, 3 Prizes, and 3 Chances to win awesome anime related goodies straight from Tokyo, Japan!

Hyped about the panels, the upcoming event, the holidays, and gift-giving, and well, while I was in Tokyo, an idea to celebrate hit me – why not do a giveaway with gifts I could get right then and there in Japan?! ?
Anyone who knows me knows that I live for any excuse to give gifts. I LOVE being able to show my appreciation for others through gift giving. And while Katsucon is not in December (thank goodness, because I would have missed it if it had been!), I figured, why not?! This could be so fun! Plus, it gave me the excuse to shop around more while I was abroad!
And guys, Japan has like, all the most fun things to shop for, hands down. <3 One of my favorite things to do in Japan is finding so many unique and cool goodies that just resonate with a billion levels of awesome. So I was overjoyed to have an excuse to hunt for these gifts.
Giveaway Prizes and Entry Details
There will be one prize given away per platform: 1 for Facebook, 1 for Twitter, and 1 for Instagram. So 3 prizes in total! Prizes are unique items related to popular anime and video game franchises such as Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Final Fantasy 7, and Kingdom Hearts.
So how will the Giveaways work?
Here’s a brief synopsis of how to enter for each platform. For full details, scroll down past these to see a full set of rules, requirements, and details on how winners will receive their prizes along with an FAQ!

Full Giveaway Rules, Requirements and Details:
- From now until February 18th at Midnight, if you follow me on my Instagram, like and follow me on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter, you will be automatically entered to win a prize that I brought back straight from Tokyo, Japan! You will get one entry per platform you follow/like – so by following/liking all three, you will have 3 chances to win a prize!
- In the event that you already follow me on any of these platforms, like the pinned post announcing the giveaway in order to enter (this gives everyone a fair shot to win by participating!)
- Once you follow/like one of my accounts, you can double your chances of winning on each platform by sharing the original post on that platform announcing the giveaway and tagging a friend when you do. Doing this on all 3 platforms will give you 3 extra chances to win – so 6 total chances! Please note that sharing the same post multiple times will not provide you with any additional chances of winning a prize. Also, sharing the post without following/liking the account on the associated platform will not net you any entries. (Additional entries are only awarded to those who follow/like the accounts.)
- If you are a new follower, liking the posts announcing the giveaways is appreciated, but it will not increase your chances of winning. (This is to keep it so that everyone at max can only get at most 6 chances to win.)
- In order to remain entered, you must be following an account by the end of Katsucon 2023.This is because there is no way to accurately track those who unfollow my accounts, thus those who unfollow / unlike during the course of the giveaway can not be entered into the final drawing.
- At the end of the entry period, 3 winners (1 per platform) will be randomly selected and privately messaged via the platform they won through alerting them to their wins! To ensure equal chances for all, we will be using a computer program to select the winners.
- To receive your prize, you MUST be attending Katsucon 2023 and you must be there until 2 PM on the 19th of February.
- If you do NOT claim your prize by the time specified in your message via a reply or fail to show up to receive your prize, you forfeit your claim and a new winner will be selected.
- Prizes will be given out in person at a designated public location inside of the National Harbor Gaylord Hotel that will be specified in your message. For that reason, you MUST be physically present at Katsucon in order to receive your prize. Prizes will NOT be mailed.
FAQ
Is this giveaway associated with Katsucon? Can I reach out to Katsucon if I have questions?
NO, this giveaway is strictly only associated with Skywing Knights. Please DO NOT reach out to Katsucon and bother them with questions. They will NOT know the answers (and they have enough on their plate).
Do I have to attend Katsucon 2023 to win?
Yes. This giveaway is specifically designed for Katsucon attendees thanks to Katsucon having me host 3 panels. Prizes will only be handed out at Katsucon 2023 within the Gaylord Hotel and will NOT be mailed. People other than the winners are not allowed to pick up prizes on behalf of the winners.
Where can I get tickets for Katsucon?

What are the prizes for the giveaway?
It’s a secret! 😉
Just kidding, sort of. Prizes include unique anime and video game goods straight from Tokyo, Japan. Series featured in the giveaway prizes include: Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Final Fantasy 7, and Kingdom Hearts.
How big are the prizes? Will they fit in a suitcase?
The largest gifts are –x— and they will come in gift bags! <3
Prizes will most certainly fit in suitcases (if you haven’t already stuffed to the brim!).
What platforms have what prizes?
Prizes are not aligned with any specific platform. Rather, winners will be allowed to choose from a variety of prizes based on the order in which usernames were selected. (Each username selected will be marked by the accompanying platform so that only one user per platform is selected.)
Can I win multiple prizes if I enter on multiple platforms?
No. Prizes are limited to one per person across all platforms.
How do I get my prize if I win?
You must meet with SkywingKnights at the appointed time and designated public location within your message (this will be in the Gaylord Hotel). You must be physically present and be able to show your profile on the platform via which you won and your badge for Katsucon 2022 to confirm who you are. Unfortunately, prizes can NOT be mailed, so if you do not show up, you forfeit your win.
What if I’m running late to pick up my prize?
Please message Skywing Knights to alert us to your delay. We can grant a 45 min delay max. Otherwise, you forfeit your prize. Additionally, if you arrive later than your scheduled time, the winner(s) after you will be granted the opportunity to pick a prize before you. (Winners will be met in 15 min intervals.)

Honestly, I’m so super excited to host these giveaways. One of my honest to goodness favorite things is to be able to meet others with similar interests and spread joy to those I meet. And I’m so glad that this will allow me to do that and I’m grateful for the means to do so.
I know it’s not the holiday season, but look at Tokyo Tower all lit up like a Christmas tree!! <3
