Less than 1 month till Japan!
By Skywing Knights // April 26, 2018
Hello lovelies,
I hope all is well wherever you may find yourselves. As you can all probably see, the website is still under construction. But it’s progressing quite nicely for my liking, so happy times! Additionally, my sister is graduating today from BYU! So major congrats to her and all of her fellow graduates!
In the midst of all of this, one more thing keeps getting steadily closer which is my upcoming trip to Japan! -doing a happy dance over here- ^_^ It’s been over two years since I’ve been able to get back and I’ve missed it terribly, so I’m very excited for this upcoming adventure. And now I have less than 1 month till Japan travels! I’ll be spending time in Hiroshima, Kyoto, Matsumoto, Saitama, Tochigi, and Tokyo while there and will be taking plenty of pictures and notes for future posts here. While I’ve been to the others before, Hiroshima will be completely new for me as well as Matsumoto and I’m excited to return to see my old home.
I seriously can’t wait to see old friends again too (y’all, we better be hitting up Karaoke together!!). Additionally, I already have plans to attend an upcoming X4 concert (how I’ve missed those and my fellow XBabies)! -continues to dance happily- Finally, my safe haven of cosplay love, Ikebukuro, will be getting a thorough clean sweep through from me (oh the number of wigs I’ll buy! Can you guess what costumes they’ll be for?). Oh, and possibly a gorgeous new figure that I’ve been hunting for… A certain Commander… haha. :3
(X4)
On a final note for today, I’m caught between constant preparation for the trip. (I need new clothes for the nicer weather lol.) Otherwise, I’ve been making new clothes (cough cough, costumes, cough cough). I finally finished Vincent Phantomhive. As a result, I was able to start on a new costume, Starfire from “Teen Titans”. (Yes, a revamp!) Also on my to-do list remains the 3DM Gear which… I should really get to working on, especially since if I need any new supplies, I prefer to get them in Japan to keep with the consistency of materials, haha. So uh, cheer me on? ^^;
So while I run around like a chicken with its smiling head cut off with 1 month till Japan, I hope you all find a reason to smile today too. Start a project, listen to a favorite song, jump on your bed and dance, watch your favorite TV show, whatever. Just remember that you’re wonderful.
