Post-Katsucon 2025 Wrap Up

The 2025 Convention season is a wrap for me! And boy, has it been a busy season! So let’s get into it with the first convention of the year – Katsucon 2025!

Overall, Katsucon was a very busy but fun convention for me this year. I did two panels – “Travel to Japan on YOUR Budget” with my friend Shelby and “Your Japan Getaway Prep Guide” with the lovely Tsukasa325. I can’t thank everyone who came to those panels enough! You’re the reason we keep getting to come back to Katsucon. I love hearing from you on how we can improve, what you liked, and how these panels help you each year!

Photo Sessions at Katsucon 2025

Even though I’ve been doing photography for over ten years, this year was the first year that I launched my photography business – Skywing Knights Photography. And Katsucon 2025 was the first convention at which I had the pleasure of offering my services. I was lucky enough to do several private shoots during Katsucon (along with one big one which I’ll get to in a moment!). Here are some of my favorites from the shoots I did at Katsucon 2025:

My Hero Academia Public Meet Up at Katsucon 2025

As I alluded to above, I also did one MASSIVE shoot at Katsucon – the official My Hero Academia Public Meet Up! I was so thrilled to work with croissantcosplay (IG) and Gen who hosted the meet up. Katsucon 2025 Giveaway Photo Shoot

This year, in celebration of the launch of Skywing Knights Photography, I decided to switch up my annual Katsucon giveaway and instead do a Photo Shoot Giveaway! This year’s winner was rory_pops on Instagram! Check out some of the shots we got together in the album linked below!

Post Katsucon 2025 Notes

Overall, Katsucon 2025 was a blast, and I seriously can’t wait for Katsucon 2026. Post Katsucon, I did a number of little shoots here and there, which I hope to share with you all soon – here’s a preview below!
