My wonderful knightingales, I live! I promise. Life has just been… a major ride lately. Here’s what’s been going on over the last few months.
The Passing of My Nana
My wonderful, loving Nana passed away in May. She was the head of our family, but she was also one of my best friends and I miss her dearly. But she’s with my Grandpa, who she loved more than anything, and that gives me peace.
2023 Year in Review
The New Year has been rung in! And legit, my first thought was ‘oh my gosh, how is it already 2024???’ O.O But since 2024 is here and 2023 is at an end, I thought I’d make a quick post recounting my favorite… indulgences over the past year. ^_^
Welcome Home, My Sweetie Sadie!
I have a very exciting announcement today! I’ve added someone to my family recently! Introducing my sweet little girl – Sadie!
Happy Thanksgiving 2021!
It’s crazy how time flies, doesn’t it? I can’t believe it’s Thanksgiving and that Christmas is right around the corner. What are your family traditions? This evening, my extended family and I got together and brought all 7 of our dogs together. What a hoot! But also the best thing ever. I loved every minute of it.

The end of the year is coming, are you ready yet? Haha, I don’t know, I always feel that Halloween is the beginning of all the crazy that the end of the year brings. But at the same time, I find it to be an exciting start to all the crazy!
The Passing of my Grandmother
Last week, my grandmother passed away and so my family has been busy making arrangements for her funeral services in the coming days… I’m sad that she’ll never get the Valentine’s Day flowers I sent her, but what I wrote on the note in the flowers’ card I believe is the best summery of her.

So very quick, but I have a Life Update: I’m moving! I’ve had a job change, so I’m relocating to the East Coast, specifically the Washington, DC area! And I can’t wait!
