Happy Thanksgiving 2019!

Happy Thanksgiving 2019 everyone!

Another year is coming up on a close soon, but perhaps that’s one of the reasons I enjoy Thanksgiving so much – it’s a great time of year to reflect on all the joys the year has brought. Sometimes years bring struggles and hardships, but I often find upon reflection, that believe it or not, I am grateful for those as I am the joys too. Without hard times we can’t grow, we can’t learn, not can we become better people. As author Og Mandino put it:

“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.”

This year, I’m grateful for my challenges, as hard as they were. I believe they’ve made me stronger. I’m grateful for my family and friends who have been there for me and who love me as I love them. Without them, I don’t know if I could have overcome my challenges at all. I love you all. You are my joy. And I can’t wait to celebrate my friends, family and true joy as the end of the year draws nigh.
