Cosplayers face the constant balancing act of figuring how to do said hobby in a way that doesn’t tear them apart in one way or another, whether that be from work, family, social life, other hobbies, or even health. So how can cosplayers find a balance? What makes for a “happy” cosplayer?
Wanted to write a very quick entry here of my experience at Katsucon 2019. I haven’t been to Katsucon regularly for a few years now – mostly due to distance in my location from the convention. However, this year, I decided to give it a go again!
Short and sweet, but I was happy to be able to attend Fairfax Comic Con this past weekend! Been a couple months, but I got to cosplay again and debut my Mary Jane Watson cosplay from the Spider-Man series!
I have less than 1 month till Japan travels! This time around, I’ll be spending time in Hiroshima, Kyoto, Matsumoto, Saitama, Tochigi, and Tokyo while there and will be taking plenty of pictures and notes for future posts here. But most of all, I’m excited to return to see my old home!
So a bit last minute, but I’ll be going to Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo – 2018 (C2E2) tomorrow! Still not even sure what cosplay I’ll be wearing – likely something from “Attack on Titan” or “Black Butler” though and I know I’ll be with a fem-Doctor Who (#11).
