Meronpan Runaways
Who is really pulling the strings?
Her favorite memory wasn’t really one moment. It was a collage of moments. All strung together. Of him. Smiling. And when he smiled at her, when they were together… she knew. She knew he was her home. That’s why, when he said good bye, it hurt. It hurt so much. Sometimes, life, it seemed, was anything, but fair.
A lie. That’s what had gotten her here tonight. She had been told he wouldn’t be here. But… here he was. And here she was. And she should have known better. They were both trying to move on. And despite knowing this, they had been intentionally left alone by meddlers. Left alone to dance. To slow dance.

Normally, she was good with flowers. But this… foreign, floral art that she was attempting to do, maybe she had bitten off more than she could chew.
Some things he always took as a constant. Some things. Some very important things. But when two constants conflict… Where will his brother’s loyalties lie?
He had to keep running. Not because there was a time limit. Not because anyone was chasing him. Not even because he had anywhere he really had to go. He just… had to keep running.
“Even if every piece of you disappeared and if it scattered everywhere; No, I won’t waver, I’ll start back at one and look for you all over again.” Six years later and the searches continue. One search, never acknowledged, and one that started with completing a puzzle eight years ago. But… can Yugi and Seto really defy destiny? Or will lives and hearts forever be shattered?
Bright colors. Wind. Strong hands to pull him out of a free fall. Mystery though he may be, she felt she knew him enough to respond with confidence.
