Wishing you all a belated but very Merry Christmas as we Light the World!
I have a very exciting announcement today! I’ve added someone to my family recently! Introducing my sweet little girl – Sadie!
Merry Christmas 2020 everyone! As you can probably tell, the holidays were super hectic for me this year. Which is why this is coming out LITERALLY on New Year’s Eve. (Who else is ready for 2021 to finally get here already?)
Th “Give Thanks” challenge was really humbling and inspiring to me. If you haven’t tried it, I encourage you to do so. In short, for a week, you post each day one thing you’re grateful for. Here were my 7 things, along with my accompanying thoughts that I “Give Thanks” for!
I always feel that Christmas and the holidays during December are interesting – because they’re filled with a “mixed bag” of feelings, and quite often, I tend to hear more about the negatives. So the question to me becomes this: Why do we celebrate Christmas?
Today for the month of November’s Featured Artist Spotlight, I’m really excited to highlight this very unique artist – Denise Storck, founder of “The Project Bin”, a clear rubber stamp supply company, and active paper crafter.
Another year is coming up on a close soon, but perhaps that’s one of the reasons I enjoy Thanksgiving so much – it’s a great time of year to reflect on all the joys the year has brought. Sometimes years bring struggles and hardships, but I often find upon reflection, that believe it or not, I am grateful for those as I am the joys too.
Last week, my grandmother passed away and so my family has been busy making arrangements for her funeral services in the coming days… I’m sad that she’ll never get the Valentine’s Day flowers I sent her, but what I wrote on the note in the flowers’ card I believe is the best summery of her.
It’s December!!!! A wonderful, as some would say, “magical” time of year. But perhaps a better term would be “miraculous”. Because of the thousands of miracles that occur during this time of year.
Happy Thanksgiving 2018! Truly we all have much to be grateful for. Living in a time where, while fallible, so many people strive to show kindness and love to one another.
