A new costume stat page is up!!

For the month of February 2020, we have for one of my first cosplays ever, the Akito Sohma Costume Stat Page from the series “Fruits Basket“!

This one was quite literally my first cosplay from over 10 years ago, so please be nice! ^^; Looking back on it, I’m still very happy with how Akito came out and still enjoy cosplaying this character because of it.

Even though I’ve read through “Fruits Basket” several times, it always strikes me how Akito is a very tragic character one where you really do have to wonder just how much of their mental state and behavior is ‘their fault’ so to speak. I think it speaks to the volumes of mental abuse and mental illness, but also to the nature of all people who just want to be loved. All of this combines to make Akito a very complex character, but one I have a lot of fun cosplaying as.
